Secondary School
Imitate Me Dance Studio’s secondary school hip-hop dance program builds on their previous experiences and offers a more advanced and comprehensive education in hip-hop dance. It challenges students to refine their techniques, deepen their understanding of hip-hop culture, and prepare for potential future pursuits in dance or related fields. It continues to provide physical fitness, creative expression, and opportunities for personal growth and development.
The secondary school dance program incorporates advanced hip-hop dance techniques and styles, including freestyling, popping, locking, and krumping. Students learn intricate moves, a range of footwork, and combinations. The focus is on refining their skills and being able to synchronise better with the music.
For many students, hip-hop classes are a great outlet for various challenges and pressures they are under growing up. It helps reduce stress and anxiety, relieve pain, and improve focus.
